Definition:
  1. "Number of slaughtered lambs" is the number of carcasses of animals whose meat is deemed fit for human consumption.
    "Live weight" is the live weight of slaughtered lambs before their slaughter, expressed as the empty body weight.
    "Carcass weight" is the cold weight after slaughter and dressing of slaughtered lambs whose meat is deemed fit for human consumption.
    "Carcass of sheep" means the whole body of a slaughtered animal as presented after bleeding, evisceration and skinning, presented without the head (separated at the atlanto-occipital joint); without the feet (severed at the carpometacarpal or tarsometatarsal joints); without the tail (severed between the sixth and seventh caudal vertebrae); without the udder and sexual organs; with the kidneys and kidney fat; and without the other organs contained in the thoracic and abdominal cavities.
    "Lambs" means:
    - young sheep (since 2025)
    - sheep aged up to 12 months, males and females (until 2024).
    Meat of these animals is presented as lamb.
