- The number of out-commuters in the commuting flow represents a basic characteristic of a flow which comprises number of out-commuters in the commuting flow. Commuting flow is defined by an out-commuter traveling from the municipality of residence to the municipality of work or school, or from the municipality of residence to another country (if commuting abroad) if there was at least one commuter in this direction. Working students are included to the indicator according to the direction of commuting to school.
