The statistical code list is an arranged list of codes and meanings assigned to them. The code list does not have (in most cases) a hierarchical structure.
Statistical code lists are part of the statistical information system and are regularly updated in accordance with international standards.
All valid statistical code lists issued in the Collection of Laws of the Czech Republic in the form of a communication are binding for the bodies of the State Statistical Service as well as for reporting units providing data for statistical surveys carried out by the State Statistical Service.
